2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA). When you visit the site, Netlify automatically processes technical data (including IP address, time of access, page requested, browser used) in order to deliver the site and ensure server stability (server logs). According to Netlify, this data is not combined with other data sources.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, secure delivery of the website).

As Netlify is a US provider, data may be transferred to the USA. Further information: Netlify Privacy Policy.

3. Contact form and newsletter sign-up (Netlify Forms)

If you use the contact form or the newsletter sign-up, the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, message) is processed via the Netlify Forms service and stored in the Netlify dashboard so that we can respond to your inquiry or keep you informed about news.

Note: If double opt-in for the newsletter has not yet been implemented, it should be added before the public launch – this is currently the legal standard.

4. Google Search Console

The website is registered with Google Search Console and its sitemap has been submitted there. This serves purely for technical visibility in Google Search (e.g. crawl status, indexing errors) and does not process any personal data of website visitors – it is not a tracking or analytics tool on the website itself.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website currently uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session tracking beyond the technically necessary Netlify hosting logs). Should this change (e.g. through the addition of analytics), this policy will be updated and, if applicable, consent will be obtained via a cookie banner.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact martin@kostrzewski-mail.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the authority responsible for your place of residence.
